We’ve partnered with David Carter of the University of Michigan Art, Architecture & Engineering Library to hold a special mixer at the Hatcher Gallery Space on U-M’s campus where you can connect with other people working to make comics more accessible to all.

The event will be held 10:30-11:30 am July 8, 2012 (ending right before KRC begins on Sunday). Coffee and bagels will be supplied, all you have to do is bring your eagerness to share ideas on advocating comics in schools and libraries.

Librarians and educators can connect with cartoonists to develop programs for their institutions. Cartoonists can learn how to better connect with libraries and educational institutions to get their work seen by the most important reading constituency currently in existence.
