THE FRONT PART ONE: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

My day starts off on a pretty good note - it's my birthday, and the last day of school. My luck suddenly changes when I get attacked by a big hairy monster at the County Fair. This is where my life on the run from evil begins...

THE FRONT PART TWO:
"FAIR FIGHT!"

Rex shows up to bail me out of the bad situation I suddenly found myself in - but things look grim when those nutty monsters and mercenaries gang up on him. Let's not forget there's that flying creep beating on Knox, Gibson, and Nina. Who's going to help them? Will help come from within or will we go without? And what about my pin?

THE FRONT PART THREE:
"SENTINELS"

After Rex fills us in on why those lunatics attacked us at the county fair, Knox, Gibson and I need a burger break to let everything sink in. But wouldn't you know it? Those crazy mercenaries are at it again, and with Rex and Opal back at the apartment, things could get pretty dicey for us. That is, unless someone else comes along to help us out...

THE FRONT PART FOUR:
"TRICKY-CON"

Rex isn't about to let either me or Knox out of his sight after what happened in Part Three. So he, Opal, Gaelin, and Max tag along when Knox and I go to (what I consider to be) the Event of the Century. However, as you might expect, the Brigadier General is back with another scheme to capture us, and this time he's not screwing around. Even with the whole group there protecting us, it's looking to be a grim day after all...

THE FRONT PART FIVE:
"TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT"

Answers, answers, answers! Rex now knows what the Sword User's plans are--but he's going to need some help to put a stop to them. Help arrives, but will it be enough? Meanwhile, Knox, Gibson, and I wake up in the bad guys' stronghold, where The Sword User spells out just why he kidnapped us in the first place.

The full scope of the conflict is revealed, all the pieces are put in place for the final battle, and hey, Knox finally actualizes his powers!

THE FRONT PART SIX:
"DREAMS BURN DOWN"

The Sword User has activated the Penitent ship. Knox, Gibson and I are trapped inside and being used as components to make the ship functional.If any of us try to escape, the ship is rigged to kill one of the others.

Meanwhile Opal, Gaelin, Max, and Don are rushing to save us, but can they do it without Rex? And what about Rex? What horrible fate does the Sword User have in store for him? How the heck are we going to get out of this mess?

One thing's for sure--the next 40 pages are going to be action packed! Let's just cross our fingers that it all ends on a happy note...
